New Words

Nicholas has been expanding his vocabulary by leaps and bounds this past week. As we all know, Nicholas is obsessed with trucks. Needless to say, it was only a matter of time before he started to correctly name the trucks. He can say concrete truck, dump truck, and crane. I think he says garbage truck, too, but I am not sure yet! Every night when Jason gets home from work Nicholas wants to "i cone in dad's truck" which means go and get an ice cream cone in dad's truck, in case you weren't able to decode that. Some of his other favorite words are Abu (Jabu, Markie's dog), Alli, barn, mucky, paint, play doh, suit (bathing suit) sim (swim), and pool. I am sure there are more but that is all I can come up with under pressure. If he can't think of the name or doesn't know it he just says "this mom this" and I try to get him to say the word. That is of course unless it is after 5 and all my patience have run out. In that case, I just give him what he wants!
