Butterflies

While we were in CT, we took a ride to the Yankee Candle store in Deerfield, MA and we visited the Magic Wings butterfly exhibit. I could have bought one of each of the candles, they were all so yummy to smell. Nicholas wanted to build a monkey at the Build a Bear store. Once we started, he was no longer interested so I built the monkey. This consists of picking a heart, pledging to love the bear, kissing the heart, turning in circles and pumping the stuffing into the monkey. In case you have a picture of me looking ridiculous in your head, you are right. Anyway, we named the monkey Paul because there is a monkey on Nickolodeon whose name is Paul that Nicholas loves. So, we finished Paul and went off to the butterfly place. As soon as we walked in, the butterflies started flying towards us. Not one of us, Jason, Nicholas, Heather, Aunt Wendy or myself, liked the butterflies touching us. Nicholas hated it so much that he was screaming and clinging to Jason as if bees were stinging him! I can't imagine where he gets this fear of bugs from, can you? Anyway, after I tortured them by taking a few pictures, they left. The three of us braced ourselves and continued to walk around. Heather screamed for her mommy every time they touched her and jumped all around. Oh yes, people were staring. This caused us to laugh hysterically and annoy those around us. I snapped a few more pictures and our total time there was probably less than a half of an hour!
